Phenomenology of Self-Cognition

Brief Description of Research Activities
Existential self-cognition is man’s cognition of his own existence. The aim of self-cognition is cognition of oneself as an individual entity. The instrument of self-cognition is reflection. In the process of reflection man regards both hisher own “being” (actions, deeds, events, etc.) and his mind (thoughts, emotions, values, etc.). The reflexive “Self” integrates different acts of the productive “Self” and uses them for synthesis of events of self-being. This ordinary self-cognition is done by everyone in hisher life.
