Current Research Activities
Scientific interests lie in the field of Liquid Crystal Physics, Physics of Magnetic Dispersion Media, Physics of Phase Transitions, Physics of Magnetic Phenomena. Theoretical investigation of orientational transitions in liquid crystal nanosuspensions induced by external fields; study of the surface anchoring properties and their effect on the character of orientational transitions in liquid-crystalline nanosuspensions.
Scientific visits to the Universities of Finland, France and United Kingdom. Participation in implementation of 20 Grants in the field of Liquid Crystal Physics and Physics of Magnetic Phenomena being a supervisor in  17 out of them. Editor of the “Bulletin of Perm University. Series: Physics” journal.
