Current Research Activities
Investigation of problems of history, theory and practice of Dialect Lexicography, Regional Lexicography and Ethnolinguistics.
Description of lexis of the Perm Region dialects in diachrony and synchrony. Investigation of the magical tradition in the Perm Region ant its reflection in lexis and phraseology.
Development of theories, compilation (jointly with other scholars) and editing of regional dictionaries, reflecting substantive and spiritual culture of the Perm Region: the differential dialect “Dictionary of Northern Russian dialects of the Perm Region”, “Dictionary of magical lexis of the Perm Region” and “Dictionary of mythological lexis of the Perm Region”.
