Current Research Activities
Investigation of reasons of the Soviet political system collapse, mechanisms determining social-political processes in various political systems, correlation between objective and subjective factors in functioning of various political systems.
Investigation of the national question in Russia and abroad in the process of formation of nations and ethnic-national communities, interethnic contradictions and three levels of the national question resolving. All this is highly important for modern Russia on the whole and for such a poly-ethnic region as the Perm Region.
The analysis of the Ural Region development in the ХIХ-ХХth centuries, i.e. social-economic and industrial development, working class status, social-political and revolutionary movements in the Ural, class struggle, establishment of political parties social-political movements and their activity.
Elaboration of politological, geopolitical and political forecasting problems.
