Young Politics Scholar Studies Public Diplomacy in Belgium

14-19 May, an academic visit for young European took place within the framework of "Public Diplomacy. The EU and Russia" Project, set by the EU division in Russia. Mikhail Grabevnik, Assistant at the Department of Political Science took part on behalf PSU.

The Program included visits to the European Commission, the European Parliament, as well as the European External Action Service and the Council of Europe Quarters in Brussels (Belgium).

Young scholars met with experts and politicians, took part in workshops by European researchers, examined economic and social policies of the EU, as well as its relationships with Russia. The agenda was focused on academic exchange and opportunities, including study programs by Erasmus+.

“An incredibly rich program accumulates energy for further growth and promising academic interaction. I hope that together we will preserve and develop academic and research cooperation between Russia and the EU”, - Mikhail Grabevnik comments.

The participants of the program participated events at the College of Europe (Bruges), the Bruegel Research Center, the Egmont Royal Institute of International Relations and the University of Ghent branch in Brussels.
