Professor of Microbiology from the University of the Sunshine Coast (Australia) had read lectures in PSU

From 2 to 6 October at the Faculty of Biology PSU a series of lectures by Professor of Microbiology, University of the Sunshine Coast (Queensland, Australia) Ipek Kurtböke had been read.

Ipek Kurtböke is interested in research of promising new biotech organisms. She is an international expert on valueable for industry rare actinomycetes. As Vice-President of the World Federation for Culture Collections Ipek Kurtböke pays special attention to microbiological collections and their sustainable use of biotechnology.
