Endowment Fund collected more than 3 000 000 rubles

The Perm University Endowment Fund is now more than 3 million rubles. The money was collected in just one year. Now, by law, this amount will be transferred to the management company for future profit, and the university will continue to raise funds for support talented students and professors.

Contributors are more than 300 people, most of them – alumni and staff of Perm University. A main contribution was made by Sergey Boguslavskiy, graduate Faculty of Economics, director of the branch of company "Volzhskaya TGC", deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Perm Krai.

"Cooperation with our alumni - top managers of leading companies - is, first, the proof of confidence for Perm University, secondly, it is evidence of our commitment to sustainable development of the part of big business, and third, it is a marker that the charity remains relevant even in difficult times ", - said Igor Makarikhin, Perm State University rector.

The rector added that it was the first step. In the near future a public fundraising will be declared, and anyone can make a contribution to the development of Perm University, making a bank transfer. "This is a long-term and ambitious project that is sure to help us in the near future", - added Igor Makarikhin.
