A delegation from Embassy of Sweden visited PSU


Perm State University is keen on developing relations with Swedish Institute including by academic and student exchanges. It was confirmed by the PSU administration on the 18thOctober 2013 during a meeting with a delegation from the Swedish Embassy in Russia and the staff of the Swedish Institute.

Perm State University was visited by Mrs. Veronika Bard Bringeus, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Sweden in Russia, Mr. Morten Frankbyu, Counsellor on Culture of the Embassy and Mrs. Helen Nilsson, Head of Baltic Sea Unit of Swedish Institute. 
 
During the visit, the representatives met with students. Mrs. Veronica Bard Bringeus greeted the students and focused on the importance of academic exchange programmes. Mr. Morten Frankbyu told about Sweden, its culture and its modern style of life. 
 
Irina Ovchinnikova, Programme Administrator of Swedish Institute, informed about the opportunities of education system in Sweden. She invited postgraduates and doctoral students to take part in the Visby scholarship programme. You can find more information on www.studyinsweden.se.
 
After the meeting, the Swedish Institute representatives answered many questions.
